I am broadly educated teacher who has instructed a variety of subjects to many ages, ethnicities and socio-economic groups in over 20 countries.
I have two degrees in Art and 3 Masters Degrees: in Religious Studies, Special Education and Asian Studies. I taught Special Education for 9 years—including gifted education, and was an adjunct professor for five years teaching a variety of subjects—English, Art History, Religious Studies and Studio Art.
I am a well-published author and love writing instruction, ghostwriting and editing work.
My practice of meditation and yoga is 30 years strong, and as a certified teacher, I’ve taught the history, philosophy and practice of yoga throughout America and Asia for more than 15 years.
I have been a competitive swimmer, triathlete and swim coach. My swimming practice remains strong, and I am an expert in stroke mechanics, flip-turns, hydrodynamics and breath control.
I deeply enjoy teaching swimming, yoga and meditation--in addition to the writing process and topics in scholarship
